Today I asked my students to set some goals for this year and then at least three things they would do to accomplish that goal. This is what one student wrote and I thought it was cute:
"Try to wake up and not be a crab. 1) Go to bed early 2) Turn lights out 3) Watch Napoleon Dynamite 1 tiem instead of 2"
Now, I just want to know how many times she's watching that movie that it needs to be on her "ways to not be a crab" list!
