Last night...before going to play tennis...I DID IT!
I TIED MY OWN SHOES!!!
YES!!!! For the first time since the surgery I was able to tie my left shoe. Needless to say I was hysterically elated! It's still a challenge (especially putting a sock on) and this morning I couldn't do it because of being more stiff in the mornings but I have new waves of hope that one day I'll not even think twice about slipping on my tennis shoes and lacing them right up.
Yay!!! I CAN TIE MY SHOES!!!! :)

Wow... it's like you're five years old again... or whatever age it is that one learns to tie shoes. Congratulations!
